Sword Table

This table was custom made with two inserts of Maple Burl, carved to the shape of the sword.

Covered with a glass top, the inserts are interchangeable depending upon which sword the client wants to display.

Casework is all Big Leaf Maple.

Maple Headboard and footboard

Two maple slabs combine with custom casework to make a king-sized bed that is is pleasing to the eye.

With a 5 degree cant, the headboard gives that slight relief to make reading in bed more comfortable.

Two slabs of highly figured maple burl were joined to create a larger kitchen table.

The legs were made from Juniper from Eastern Oregon with custom fitted legs to give stability.

The height was custom to allow for wheelchair access.

The joinery on the table is exquisitely done and adds beauty with a contrasting wood for the butterflies.

Using butterflies creates a joint that is much stronger than trying to join end-grain.
